Missoni and a whole new set of rules

The sun shone on Sunday (wahey blighty - where is the summer??!!) and i got to wear my super duper serious sale bargain 80% off Missoni dress which i looove.  I adored this dress when i first saw it but i had made a new fashion rule - no more mini dresses - you can wear the old ones but do not buy anymore - god i hate fashion rules - self-imposed or not!  Well when it came up at the end of sale bargain basement knockdown at Matches i made a new rule - if a total bargain all previous rules become null and void - i like the new rule! Pity the sales are over i could have applied it more liberally I am sure (weekend's nearly here!!) xx






Isn't this shirt fab - short at the back so you can wear tied like this or as a normal shirt tucked in - so clever - love 2 in 1's - i might just make a new fashion rule about them - ie 2 for the price of one instantly becomes half price ???  serious fashion habit justification anyone ?? x

    That is a gorgeous dress, I'm with you on the mini rule, I too have vowed only to wear out those I have and not buy any new ones but then...can that be broken if it's winter and opaques are involved? We need a whole fashion judicial team!

    Just wait until you're over 40 Claire, the list of rules gets even longer. Apparently I can't wear skirts/dresses above the knee, can't wear black, can't wear spaghetti straps, can't wear skinnies etc.etc. cos none of that is 'age appropriate'! PAH! Wear what looks good on you is what I say, whatever your age - and you certainly look good in that dress :) All the best from sunny Portugal, Jennifer

    the missoni dress looks amazing on you, i always love a woman who can wear missoni! i am not a huge fan, but this dress is awesome because of the bright colors; how perfect that you have kept the rest of the accessories pretty basic qua colors! oh and frank is enjoying the sunshine

    80% off your Missoni Dress!?!?! When I got mine it was 65% off so you did even better! Love all of the colours and the shirt you paired with it. Throw the mini-dress rule out the window...you look fabulous in mini-dresses and you can wear it until you decide you no longer want to!
