Fashion and Franks Fave Fashionistas - Ece Sukan

Vogue Turkey's Editor at Large, vintage store owner, stylist and fashion phenomenon - Ece Sukan.  I guess when you own a vintage store it is no surprise that your style is eclectic, individual and head-turning - i find this lady so very inspiring xx

Now this is not somewhere i would normally go and yet it is perfect and that is why i opened with this shot because it opens my eye to something new that i love unexpectedly

Brights and black working perfectly

Again black and brights - which i dont do and now i think i may try

Personal fave - loving the leather vintage shirt and the Bette Lynch coat

Chain Mail tunic, over the knee boot - perfect with the grey and simple hair and makeup

Love this - i think i may be doing a Bette later this year - faux fur here i come

Its the brights and black again - i love orange and pink - great combo

Why do i love it - the bare legs - bare pale legs but they are exceedingly nice legs

Another chain mail tunic - love the brown ankle boots

I am so finding some fantastically printed silk fabric and recreating something just like this 80's liciousness - cue the gloves  xx

  1. Wow, love her style and that last photo is just amazing. As the only woman wearing lots of color {teal of course} in a sea of black last night, I just wonder where these bright and stylish ladies are? I need a pack of them to travel with en masse!

  2. It feels as if she takes her inspiration from the richness of Turkish culture, with all the bright colours and patterns and jewellery, even spices. She looks very beautiful on every picture and every outfit looks organic on her. x

About what you said: I wish that on that gucci store you could also spot a label saying: free gifts for Francesca!!! Hahaha!! It will never happen! But sometime I will tell you the story of my python Indy bag. First time in my life I made a bargain.....or better they made a mistake and I took advantage of it!!

  17. Laughing at the Bette Lynch coat quip, I had a coat like that once but had to get rid of it as all I could see in the mirror was a brassy barmaid.

  34. Oh, WOW. Her style just blows me away! It's so bold. My favorites are all the gorgeous bright things. Like that first dress! The hot pink is amazing. And that outfit with the orange and pink is darling! That leather military-inspired dress is SO hot. And those shoes she's wearing with it! Holy crap. I agree about her pale legs, they're pretty! Mine look that pale, but I wish they looked that GOOD.
