Last Seasons Camel Coat

Did you indulge?  Did you do the whole head to toe camel thing?  Are you a tad over it?  I think i just found your answer ....

A bit of colour blocking - enlivening the camel and the camel providing the perfect neutral - I might just wear the
two coats (I know!!) i bought last season after all xx

  1. I just bought mine from Matches, I've been wanting a camel coat for the last few years but last year I put my pennies into redecorating, this winter I'm restocking!

  4. I'd never be tired of camel coats! Love them so much. Got a classic one last year and, in a perfect world, would love to buy MaxMara coat one day. x

  5. I'm like Ada: I haven't found my perfect camel coat (i.e. possibly without buttons or double breasted) yet, even if last year I tried so many of them at Max Mara...But the search continues and your idea of colour blocking is great.

  6. They def do the best camel coats Little Rus - it is kind of the cornerstone of their brand x

NJAPD - It updates i feel - i wore so much all camel last season and it made me tire of it yet it is such a flattering neutral - renewed and perked my interest again! x

  8. I'd hoped to see some really great camel pieces last fall, but they just never really turned up anywhere. I'll wear camel whether it's In or Out.

  10. It's a classic coat in a timeless shade.
You'll have years of wear with this simple style.

    Coats are investment pieces...
the winter wool and cashmere coat I purchased was pricey and it will be enjoying it's 3rd season when the temperature dips.

Mine is black because camel makes me look anemic!

  11. I have mine from last year from Armani Collezioni (and I have a Burberry one as well, but that one is a bit older!). I actually took it out this morning because I was just freezing!

I like the idea with colour blocking! I tend to just go black in the winters... but I think I'll go for colour this year (loving burgundy!)

  21. Thankfully I had a camel coat that my vintage dealer "gave"/lent/let me steal {?} and I love it so much it may be making an appearance in my line in a much brighter color. I know--I wondered at the time about the whole camel thing being too overblown last year and what it would do to camel coats for the next few years--no one will want to wear theirs, although color blocking is the perfect solution!
