London and Fashion Recreation

I had such fun in London - i was meant to go up Tuesday last week but leaping about meant i couldnt heave my back in that car until Thursday - oh but what a top 3 days - i bought the most amazing piece in the whole world which i will share soon - my heart is still beating faster at the thought - ooh i love a statement piece.  I wore some really top outfits - unfortunately all was the maddest rush so i didnt get a single pic but what i did do was have a little recreation just for you last night with Le Frank in attendance.  I wear this type of outfit whenever i am walking, it is hot and i want something easy.  These shoes are Lanvin from last summer and have already 100's of London miles on their tread, not to mention a dip in the Serpentine - less said about that the better!  The dress was a pre-sale discount purchase and i am loving my bracelets at the mo - have a good week all my fashion friends xx

Fashion and Franks Fave Fashionistas - Giovanna Battaglia

I have decided to dedicate a weekly post to my fave fashionista's - now you might think that Frankie is prob not all that interested in fave fashionista's but believe you me Frankie loves a lady!  And Frankie  has a fashion eye - who would have thought it - a big dufus like him - but he loves a well turned out young lady - he has been known to cross the road for a well turned out young lady - i sometimes wonder where he learnt that .. Mr Fashion and Frank ?? ...

First fave fashionista - you guessed it - her of the uber-accessory - the inimitable Giovanna Battaglia, future daughter-in-law to Carinne, girlfriend of Vladimir, formerly Vogue, currently W, uber stylist, editrix, and true lover of fashion.  My personal top favourite xx

For me the tights are definitely adding,  balancing the clutch and pattern

Eye on Style!

I am so chuffed, the lovely Mary Jo of trust your style, has asked me to do her regular Friday slot Eye on Style, interviewing various bloggers/artists.  When she asked me to participate i thought it the ideal time for me and the man to have some fun and get the camera out.  We had such fun - i hope you like the pics and hang in there Frankie fans in 10 mo's you will see a new post with him and said same outfit.  Have a very good weekend and thank you so much Mary Jo - check it out fashion friends it is a goody xx

Lesson learnt - when mid forties with a previously damaged disc - do not leap around like a loon - it will hurt and you will spend most of this week on said back - that bit - not fun

In the last throws of summer

Sometimes i see images and i just know that i love them and want to share them straight away - these images are exactly what i mean by this.  They literally scream summer and we are finally getting that sunshine - rejoice my fellow Brits it finally has its hat on x

Going to a Wedding

I am very sorry Franky fans but when off to a wedding in a very delicate, creamy dress he is firmly indoors!!  I do love a good wedding - I think after many a year of sniggering at Mr FF's dad dancing i may have started doing the same!!  Little Alex - who is not so little anymore - was trying to get everyone on the floor - i got up first - he looked terrified (I am his boss) I suddenly started dancing like my Mum - NOOOO!!  What occurs - where does it come from??  Speaking of my Mum this vintage bag was hers in the late 70's.  My mum had the best clothes, I remember that outfit like yesterday - all bronze with a silk little tie front jacket, a ruched chiffon top underneath and a frilled skirt with hand painted ruffles - sounds horrid - it was not it was gorgeous -and you know what i think she had it when she was about my age - double shreik!!  Told you Mum Dancing!!  Have a good week all my fellow fashion fans xx
