My Man - the Fashionista!

Easter Sunday - in the sun - in the garden - me and my man - conversation - fashion!

Man - "haven't seen much from Zara recently"
Me - " no not a lot fitted or flattered - been overfilled with lust for Dolce Gabanna"
Man - " its like that Gok Two"
Me - looking blank
Him - saying something, me still looking blank
Me - it dawns - " you mean Gok Wan???!!"
Me huge amounts of hilarity for a very long period of time!
Now you know why i need a blog for fashion discussion!!! xx

Wide Strides!

I love these trousers - Chloe bargain basement about 80% off a couple of years ago - and i looove them!  Sooo wide!  My man not so keen but i think very wide flares may be a little too 'harem' (my mans true hate) for him but hey sometimes it is all about the fashion!! x

 Blouse has pussy cats all over it - which should be sooo wrong but its Miu Miu and soooo very right (last season i am afraid if you love it too!)

Jade bangle a pressie from my Dad in Laos - the only bangle to fit me to date - most are too big but this one is perfect - i have asked for a few more - so thanks in anticipation Dad! xx

Trench as Dress

This is the outfit i wore to dinner with my man for our anniversary.  Wanted to feel feminine but with an edge for a special event.  The trench is lanvin and not my usual style being very feminine and girlie.  Wearing it as a dress made it feel more sexy and although feminine still a bit more edgy.  I love wearing trenches as dresses and have a black lace one that i adore in Winter.

Simple jewellery and a pair of pucci patent heels that i got from Outnet (great for bargains esp if you wanted pieces full price and they come up - which these did!).  Clutch is Mcqueen in honour of Kate Middleton looking totally and utterly gorgeous - and the fact that i love it no matter what anyone else wears!! xx 

Weekend of Weddings

Firstly, there was the one that needs no reminding but secondly and more importantly to me it was my wedding anniversary.

I went for a very special dinner with my man on Saturday night and we had a great day together yesterday, wandering the Kings Road - popping into Zara and just being with each other.

Today was the day itself, we got up, Rich walked the dog, we had breakfast and he said he had a surprise for me later.  Sitting on my laptop browsing when i heard the music change and I thought to myself i love this song - he came in, grinning, and said follow the music - as i walked into the study it dawned on me that this was the song we got married to - Girl, you'll be a Woman Soon - the tears started to roll down my face.

He proceeded to give me a lovely present - a Dolce and Gabanna dress i had loved on the catwalk and though the dress is absolutely beautiful, to me that downloaded song is priceless.

We've been together 17 years on life's varied path but it is days like today that remind me how very lucky i am to be sharing this life with this very special man - i love you honey x

Bright Blue Trousers

I love these trousers i bought them last year and have worn them quite a bit - they look great with nudes and white.  They are however going to form the basis of my colour blocking trend for summer - one i am a bit nervous of!  Have some great bright pink and yellow shoes that i am going to combine them with but i am not quite sure what to do about a bag - will have a play and post the results soon!

Another summer staple - T by Alexander Wang crop top bra and maxi dress - these are great value for money - easy to wear - only one piece of advice - store them flat.  They grow if hung up! x
